Training

Training is made available to all of my clients for all dogs that are intended for me to show at a later time.  Basic manners, show etiquette, socialization, etc. are important to the enjoyment of the show ring for all dogs, and I feel it’s in both my best interest as well as my clients and their dogs to have all the basics covered before we enter our first show together.  

Most basic training sessions last 1 week, but can be extended depending on the individual needs of the dog.  My methods promote a situation in which the dog has to rely 100% on me from the start.  I feel that it is easier for me to develop a bond of trust faster when an animal never has to question who is in charge.  I also believe that the only way to be successful in the ring is if my dogs enjoy what they do.  Therefore, everything we do has rules, but within those rules, we are allowed a very good time.
